Anchoring remains consitent

The Santee style drift bite for big fish that I always love doing in the fall just hadnt turned on very good this year, at least with consistency anyway. The anchor bite is still pretty good though.Catches of 20 to 30+ lb fish have been pretty common by anchoring around ledges that hold baitfish and catfish holding underneath them. The 5 to 18+ lb fish have really been feeding heavy lately also.Cut gizzard shad is pretty good but other fresh fish of your choice will work just fine.As usual when anchoring on Monticello, patience is very important. The depth is not real important right now, just make sure theres some baitfish in the area.I would love to put some pics and video up, as I usually do but everything in my computer (all pics and videos) was lost in a recent crash. :x

Wow - had no idea you'd lost everything. That is extremely frustrating.

Do you think the fish will move deeper as we get later into fall?
