There is a 20 ft python in berry pond in greenville county,sc and the town is duncan but I went there and seen the wake of this monster and the fishing was greatt 2 10 lb bass on topwater and smaller bass on rubber worms pink flaked woth a lil black and a 1 o weedless hook and the topwater was a chatter bait i was rigged with a 30 lb brain and a light action baitcaster it was a really fun time there!!!but overall it was crazazaqzazaz!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, there's a pond in SC that has a twenty foot python in it? That's incredible. I would really like to see a photo of that.

Congrats on the big bass; pond fishing can be awesome at the right place at the right time...

Oh yeah this pond has a huge bass..that was last week but we were headed to keowee last night and we didnt want to get rained out so we went to berry pond and we got a really nice 4 lb lunker this was def a tourny bass.

Bassmaster13--I did a google search for this pond and it looks big enough where is if there is a public access point? Or were you fishing from the bank? I would like to get on the water around here and seem to be locked out. i live in greer and apalache is "private" adn I am told that robinson and cunningham require a permit. Not against getting one but...... I would like to know about any other places around here too. i have been here 10 years and am now just getting back into fishing (been missing it sorely). What about creeks around here?

Hey Callmemr.V;
If I am correct, this pond is on Berry Shoals Road between Hwy 101 and Hwy 290. I passed it a hundred times doing some contractor work at BMW. Private pond, pay at the bait house (Brownish block building). Never heard the tale about the python though...
