VFW Post 5996 Men's Auxiliary is having our 3rd annual open bass fishing tournament April 11, 2009 on Lake Russell. Entry fee is $80.00 per boat, 2 people per boat; entry fee includes $5.00 per person for big fish pot which is 100% pay back.The tournament will start at safe light and run until 3:00 pm, docking at Elberton Boat Ramp Hwy 72. 1st place is $1000.00 guaranteed, 2nd place is $400.00, 3rd place is $200.00, with lots of door pizes.
