I was stationed in NC before I came to Sumter. While there I had a fishing hole that I liked to call my "Gold Mine" because no matter when, what time, and how long I was there it always produced. I dont have a boat so I'm pretty much a bank fisherman but this lake has the perfect layout for that. Its banks are shaped like a huge hand and I fish off of and between the fingers. There have been times when I had to run to the truck to offload my catch so I wouldnt have to carry it all at once LOL. I have caught some monster slab crappie as well as huge shellcrackers.
