Fishing Info

All of us who use this site really enjoy the sport of fishing. I suggested to Jay that he add this kind of post to allow guys to share some fun places to fish. Hopefully, we'll catch them in SC, but it's also fun to take some trips outside of the state from time to time. Sharing tips, experiences, and info on fun places to try would add to the enjoyment. Right now, I'm trying to plan a trip to a great place to relax, enjoy, and catch some some good bass. Any suggestions would really be appreciated! Bank Pounder Jim

Jim,
I've heard Lake Lure up in North Carolina is a pretty nice place to go. They have a healthy population of Largemouth, Smallmouth and several other species from trout to crappie. I've never fished there but have passed by that lake several times and it is God's country up there. Check it out sometime. It's not a long drive at all. I'm going to give you a call this evening and to get some more info on the club too. Are you going to be around?

Thanks for the info! I'll look into that lake. I'll be here this evening. I'm one of those early to bed, early to rise guys. I take a lot of kidding about going to bed early, but I love the mornings; especially, when I'm on the water. Give me a call. Jim
