My family and I took a brief trip up to the mountains of East TN over this past weekend. The weather was a bit chilly, but we had a great time resting and enjoying God's creation! I was able to do some trout fishing up there and caught a few over the two days that I got into the water. I fished the Doe River near Roan Mountain. The area is beautiful and I had a blast! On Sunday I hooked a nice Rainbow and a pretty nice Brown as well. I have enjoyed fishing there and would recommend the trip to anyone! I may post a picture of the rainbow and brown, if I get a chance this week.
