The Spring 2009 Santee Cooper CATT Trail wrapped up Saturday at John C. Land with 21 teams entering the Final with a total purse of $4,250.00 on the line.
Add that to the cash we paid out at the Santee Qualifiers and a total of $10,850.00 has been awarded this Spring. Looking back at the other lakes CATT is on and looking at their 1st year payback the Santee Trail has by far been our best start. We are looking at maybe having a few out of Blacks next year and no doubt will pick up several teams from that area.
Rick McLean of Dalzell and Corey Allsbrook of Sumter took home 1st Place and a check for $2,500.00 with a total weight of 19 lbs 11 ozs.
Jim Smoak and Mike Watson both of Sumter brought in another limit weighing 17 lbs 9 ozs to take 2nd Place. They also had the BF of the day with a 6 lb 9 oz bass and they won 1st Place BONUS $. All total they collected $1,140.00.
David Malin of Ladson and Robbie Sacora of Monks Corner finished up in 3rd with 15 lbs 12 ozs and they took home $370.00
Bob Patrick and David Carlton both of Summerton took 4th Place with 15 lbs 1 oz and received $130.00
Joe Avin of Summerton and Brian Jeffords of Lugoff took home 2nd Place BONUS $ and the 2nd Place BF. Their total weight was 14 lbs 11 ozs and they weighed in a 5 lb 6 oz bass. They collected a total of $110.00
