Our 2008 Southern Point Champions Josh McGregor and Randall Driggers got off to a great start by winning the 1st event of the season on Lake Murray for their division. Their five bass weighed in at 22.31 lbs. to win by more than 7+ lbs. They took home a check for $1,065.00 for their effort and credited a crankbait for their success. They also added another $84.00 for 2nd big bass of the tournament weighing 6.31 lbs. Great job guys!!!

Finishing second were Sean Anderson and George Berry with a limit weighing 14.73 lbs. good for a $695.00 payday.
In third were and in third were Dale Goff and Joseph Askhar with just two bass weighing 11.34 lbs. They had big bass of the tournament weighing 7.70 lbs. which was good for $210.00 to go along with their $426.00 3rd place check.

In fourth were Gary Abernathy and Randy Cody with five bass weighing 11.30 lbs. good for $260.00 and in the final money spot were Dave Murdock and Steve Pizzino with a limit weighing 10.34 lbs. good for $200.00.
The next stop for the Southern anglers is set for Wateree out of Clearwater Cove on March 8th. Tournament hours are safe light to 3:00pm.
