Still waters and a bright sky greeted the anglers on Saturday morning. We all knew it was going to be hot and the bite was going to be tough but most of our teams managed to bring fish to the scales. Errol Duckett & Viet Bui seemed to find the mother load of 15.01 lbs anchored by a 5.03 2nd big fish. They also won 1st place in Bonus Bucks. The second place team of Travis Parrish & Tim Jones found a bag weighing 12.7 lbs. and third place went to Donnie & Thomas Moore with 12.69 lbs.
This event rounded out our season and also the points race. When all the smoke cleared the team of Ronnie Mueller & Wayne Frierson stayed on top with a lead of just one point. This was a close race with the team of Billy Bell & Keith Wilson and both of these teams should be proud of their accomplishments this season.
