The Carolina Anglers Team Trail had a Lake Wateree Tournament this Saturday. Thanks to tournament director Brett Collins for the tournament write-up and results.

Do you like cold weather? Well 32 Teams must have loved it this past Saturday at Lake Wateree where the air temp was 20 degrees! Usually the fishing is tough when the water temp is below 50 and that proved true. All 32 teams are now eligible to enter the 2 day CATT Classic on Lake Wateree May 30-31 where a possible $15,000.00 will be on the line. Adam Williamson of Ridgeway and Jim Wagers of Blair brought in a 5 bass limit weighing 15 lbs 14 ozs to take 1st Place and the BONUS $. They also had the 2nd BF at 5 lbs 14 ozs. All total they collected $1073.00.

Freddie Faulkenberry and Stacy Seegars both of Kershaw brought in 5 more bass that weighed up at 12 lbs 13 ozs and they collected $375.00 for 2nd Place.
Coming in 3rd was Andy Owens of Camden with 5 bass weighing 11 lbs 13 ozs. He adds another $270.00 to his CATT winnings. Andy is closing in on the $22,000.00 mark.

Tracy and Drew Pope of Lancaster brought in 5 bass weighing a total of 11 lbs 12 ozs and they received $140.00 for 4th.

Greg Sigmon of Heath Springs weighed a limit at 10 lbs 11 ozs and he received $110.00 for finishing 5th.

Chad Crosby of Holly Hill and Terry Coleman of Sumter took home the last money spot with a limit weighing 10 lbs 8 ozs.

David Canupp took home the 1st Place BF money of $217.00 for a fat 7 lbs 11 oz HAWG he weighed in caught on a crankbait.
