CATT Summer Final Results

This past Saturday 30 Teams entered the CATT Lake Wateree Summer Final and we actually had a cool morning to start the day off. There was also a lot of cold cash to be handed out and if you were in the right place at the right time your Saturday could end on a high note. CATT paid back a total of $15,865.00 during the 2009 Summer CATT Trails four qualifiers and Final on Lake Wateree! We only averaged 25 boats per qualifier so the rewards were high. That’s over a $4000.00 increase from the 2008’s Wateree Summer Trail! Plus the teams finishing in the top 40 in the Summer 09 points race have qualified for the 2010 CATT Classic on Lake Murray with a possible $20,000.00 on the line! If you were not in the top 40 you can also qualify for the 2010 CATT Classic by finishing in the top 10 at the Final. The 2010 CATT Classic will be made up of eligible teams from the 2009 Wateree Summer Trail and the Fall 09 and Spring 2010 CATT Trails. We are shooting for 125 teams in the Classic which will be held in May of 2010 and hope you will be there!

One team that will be at the Classic is Cleve Yarborough and Chad Gainey both of Hartsville. They had a fantastic day of fishing on Lake Wateree with 5 bass weighing in at 16 lbs. 4 ozs! They collected the 1st place check of $2,100.00 plus they also took home another $500.00 by finishing 1st in the BONUS $. To make a great day an even more rewarding day they also will collect another $2,600.00 under the Stratos 2x Double Your Money Program. All total they received $5,200.00!

2nd Place went to Randall Driggers of Turbeville and Josh McGregor of Timmonsville with another 5 bass limit weighing up at 15 lbs 8 ozs. They also had the 1st Place Big Fish at 4 lbs 15 ozs and took home the 2nd Place BONUS $. All total they collected $1,428.00! This check will push their total CATT winnings over $12,000.00!

Andy Owens of Camden continues to add to his massive CATT winnings with another 5 bass limit weighing in at 15 lbs 4 ozs. He also had the 2nd Place BF at 4 lbs 15 ozs. Andy took home a total of $887.00 for his 3rd place finish and he’s not far from $30,000.00 in total CATT winnings!

Jay Keith of Camden and Donald Hinson of Lugoff took home 4th place and $500.00 with a total weight of 14 lbs 8 ozs.

Alan Fletcher and Danny Johnson both of Hartsville finished in 5th place with a limit weighing 14 lbs 1 oz and they received $300.00.

6th place went to Jerry Freezon of Elgin and William Peake of Lugofff with 5 bass weighing 13 lbs 13 ozs. They collected $200.00.
