February 7 CATT Results

We’re off to a good start on Lake Wylie with 20 teams entering the first 2009 Lake Wylie CATT Spring Qualifier. We have 6 teams already pre-paid for Feb 21 and most are new teams so look for another good crowd. Please note at the bottom of each result sheet the money recap and you can see where your entry fees are going. Arthur State Bank will pay you $500.00 if you win a CATT event during the 2009 spring season if you have an active checking account at any of their branches!

Fishing was tough for some but others always figure it out. This past Saturday it was Tom Russell of Fort Mill, SC and Tom Gilmer of Charlotte, NC. Before blast off I joked with Tom about bringing a camera to take his picture at the weigh in. Well he and Doug weighed in 5 fat Lake Wylie bass at 19 lbs 1 oz and got their pictured taken! They also had the 2nd Place BF with a 4 lb 9 oz bass and to top it off took home the BONUS $. All total they collected $660.00

2nd Place went to Joe Hansil of Gastonia, NC and Larry Ensley of Belmont, NC with another 5 bass limit weighing in at 15 lbs 11 ozs. They received $300.00.

3rd went to Tim Chapman and Marc Leech both of Gastonia, NC with 5 bass weighing in at 15 lbs 5 ozs. They also had the BF of the day with a 5 lb 14 oz bass. They took home $290.00

4th went to John Schohn of Lake Wylie, SC and Todd Moss of York, SC with 5 bass at 14 lbs 4 ozs and they collected $100.00

The Lake Wylie Spring 2009 Final Fund stands at $350 and 1st Place at the Final will receive $2,500.00 GUARANTEED! Next Lake Wylie CATT is Feb 21 at Buster Boyd Bridge Access.
