CATT Tournament Feb. 21

The Carolina Anglers Team Trail had a Lake Wateree Tournament this Saturday. Thanks to tournament director Brett Collins for the tournament write-up and results.

We had 28 teams enter the 2nd 2009 Lake Wylie CATT Qualifier this past Saturday and with the lake full of bass boats several teams still managed to bring in some solid limits of bass. Tony and Linda Hatten of Huntersville NC brought in a 5 bass limit weighing 17 lbs 2 ozs to take home 1st Place and the BONUS $. All total they received $850.00

Troy Jackson and Derek Nicley both of Charlotte weighed in another limit at 16 lbs 9 ozs to take 2nd Place and $350.00

Jason Curtis and Rankin Chapman both of Rock Hill finished in 3rd place with a limit weighing 16 lbs 8 ozs and took 2nd Place BF with a fat 5 lb 12 oz. bass.
They collected a total of $334.00

4th went to Van Sexton and Eddie Wooten both of Grover NC with 5 bass weighing 16 lbs 3 ozs good enough for $130.00

Gary Michaud of Chesnee and Doc McDaniel of Mooresboro NC took home $100 for their total weight of 16 lbs 2 ozs. They finished in 5th Place.

Chuck Camp weighed in the 1st Place BF with a healthy 6 lb 5 oz bass worth $196.00.

We have 35 teams so far at Wylie and all have qualified to enter the 2-day CATT Classic on Lake Wateree May 30-31 with a possible $15,000.00 on the line!

The Lake Wylie Spring 2009 Final Fund stands at $850.00 and 1st Place at the Final will receive $2,500.00 GUARANTEED! Next Lake Wylie CATT is March 7 at Buster Boyd Bridge Access.
